Hi, I’m Shalom – a food photographer, stylist, and supper club host, passionate about telling visual stories of what and how we eat.
Living half my life in Ethiopia, much of my inspiration comes from the rich cultural heritage and flavors that have shaped me. I’m also a registered nurse and adventurer, always seeking new horizons.
My mother, a self-taught culinary genius, fuels my creativity, as does the beauty of the Northwest, which is why green is my favorite color. When I’m not working or adventuring, you’ll find me in my kitchen, recreating childhood flavors.
Each part of my life – from photography to hosting dinners – is a thread that weaves together the stories I love to tell.
